Hi from the Twitch Prime Extra Life Event at Amazon Game Studios! If you’ve been in my streams, you’ve heard about Extra Life, and if you haven’t, I’ve got a blog post for you! Over the last 2 years it’s become a pretty important charity to me and this year I got to visit my best friend Chris (Kimchi) for her work event.
The experience has definitely been one to remember and one to build on next year. I’m beyond excited to come home and stream for our 12 hour AHareAffair marathon Saturday, Nov. 10th and I haven’t even streamed this one yet!
Today while I was on the studio floor, I taught some crochet and also finished a 1Up Mushroom for Extra Life (get it?). We’ll be working on a 2nd one on tomorrows Twitch Prime streams (You can watch the rest of the marathon, including my 2 hour segments here ), but for now, I finished the pattern and, if you can write a blog post from Twitch Prime, you write a blog post from Twitch Prime.
Happy Fundraising and Happy Crafting!

I’d recommend stitching on your eyes before you assemble the mushroom, that way it’s easier to tie off the stitches and hide the knot. Then assemble your mushroom, adding 1 spot to the center of the top, one to the center of the front and continue them around, spaced evenly.
Happy Stitching!
will try soon
